Baking bread at home was never difficult

Ingredients

  • All-purpose Flour – 1/2 kg
  • Active Yeast – 1 sachet
  • Sugar – 4 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Lukewarm water – As per need
  • Olive oil/Butter – 3 tbsp

Procedure

  1. Mix yeast and sugar in warm water (1/2 cup) and let it rise
  2. Now add flour, active yeast mixture, salt and oil/butter in a mixing bowl
  3. Mix them thoroughly and add warm water to make a dough
  4. once the dough is formed, place it on a slab and knead it with your palms for 20-25 minutes. Spread and fold again and again.
  5. Now cover the dough and let it rest for 1 hour, so that it becomes double in size
  6. After the dough has risen, assemble it to make a loaf and put it in an already greased pan
  7. Leave the dough in the pan again for an hour so that it rises even more
  8. After an hour place it in the pre-heated oven at 200 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes
  9. When the top gets brown, take it out, brush butter on it and let it cool.
  10. After that cut the slices and serve.

Don’t Forget

  • to pre-heat your oven for at least 1/2 hr
  • to grease your pan first
  • to leave the dough 2 times to risen up
  • make sure that dough is not too sticky
